  • The children did a great job playing their recorders for the American Heritage Day program. I was glad so many parents could join us for the performance.

  • Enjoy the Thanksgiving break. Be sure not to come back on Monday, the 28th as that is a teacher in-service day., but return on the 29th.

  • Our Christmas program will be the 8th of December. Our class will be singing about and reciting Isaiah 9:6.

  • Spelling tests will be on Wednesday and Friday as usual.

  • The memory verses, Luke 1:68-69 will be due on Friday.

  • Friday we will also have a chapter 7 math test. We have been introduced to all the multiplication families now and after Christmas we will be tested weekly over each family.

  • We will wrap up our unit on tall tales after the break and enjoy a tall tale DVD as a culminating activity.

  • We enjoyed all the samplings of food from each region after our Heritage Studies test on Tuesday. We tried maple syrup, peanuts, cornbread, tator tots, and pineapple.
