• Chapter 12 science test on Wednesday over the solar system.


• Class picnic in Montrose Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.


• Noon dismissal on Friday, the last day of the 2010-2011 school year.

• Monday the nonfiction report is due that was assigned last Wednesday.


• Spelling tests are on Wednesday and Friday.


• The memory verse is due on Friday- Proverbs 4:7.

• We enjoyed the May birthday celebration of Jamie Woodhouse,Arthur Terzyan, Jorge Mijangos, and Vivien Dolivo on Friday.

• No school on Monday, May 30th- MEMORIAL DAY.


• Our class picnic is Thursday, June 2nd.


• Our last day of school is Friday, June 3rd and we will also celebrate the June and July birthday that day.

• Flower report due on Monday. Each child chose a flower on Wednesday and must fill out the paper assigned.


• Spelling tests on Wednesday and Friday.


• 9's division test on Friday.


• Chapter 12 math test on multiplying a one digit number times a two, three, and four digit number.


• Chapter 11 science test on Tuesday over plants.


• The class picnic will be Thursday, June 2nd at the Montrose Park. I will be needing help. I will send home information regarding how you can serve our class that day.

• English test on Tuesday over chapter 7.


• Grace Olympics Tuesday from 8:30 -11 in the gym. Students are to wear field trip shirt and dark blue or dark colored athletic shorts as well as tennis shoes.


• The Mother/child Tea went nicely on Thursday. The children performed well and it was a joy to see all the moms in attendance.


• Congratulations to Michelle Dibo for being our April Good Citizen. She was recognized during the tea.


• Our end of the year picnic will be Thursday, June 2nd at the Montrose Park. Thsi is a lovely small park near where I live that is secluded and offers lots of play area and clean restrooms. Let me know if you'd like to drive that day and/or help in any way. I could use someone to purchase the needed items-you will be given petty cash and then need to turn in receipts, grill the hotdogs, fill water balloons, help with relays, etc. I will send home a flyer in the near future.
