• Elizabethan Evening on Monday, May 2nd beginning at 7:00 p.m. on the patio. Come visit our class display of "Ye Olde Flower Shoppe". Thanks to the parents who are volunteering to be shopkeepers. Remember -noon dismissal.

• Wednesday is the book report- T-shirt, float , or lyrics and the chap. 11 Math test.


• Friday we will have the 7's division test.

• Easter break runs from April 18th through April 25th. Teacher in-service is on the 25th, so don't return to school until Tuesday, the 26th.


• The bird project is due on Wednesday, April 27th.


• Spelling tests will be on Wednesday and Friday.


• The verse is due on Friday-Colossians 1:28.


• Bible test on Friday over lessons 28-30.


• The Elizabethan Evening (AKA our art festival) will the May 2nd. Our class will be responsible for the flower shoppe. I will need some help manning the booth that evening.


• Thanks for all the parental help at our recent field trip. The children had a marvelous learning experience.


• The Mother/Child tea is set for Thursday, May 5th at 1:30 p.m. in the 130 room.

• The next book report will be due on Wednesday, May 4th-later since we have the bird project due a week earlier.


• Elizabethan Evening is May 2nd. Our class will be doing the flower shop. We will be making head garands and flower sticks in art and "selling"them at our booth that evening. We may need some help manning the booth that night. I hope I can count on some help from our parents.

• SAT testing will occur each day Monday-Thursday. The OLSAT will be administered on Thursday.

• Our field trip to go bird watching in the Sepulveda Basin is April 13th. I need drivers! Let me know if you can help. 9:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m.


• Group E enjoyed pizza Thursday for winning the 3rd quarter contest for cooperative learning amongst our classmates. Danile Arrington, Vania Linares, Michelle Dibo, and Michael George worked exceptionally well within their group.
