• Family Fun Night in Friday, March 16th. We can use some help from our class.
• The annual Walkathon is Monday, March 21st with a noon dismissal. Thanks to the parents who have offered to serve our class that day.
• We have experienced alot of illness this past week. Please pray that our students will return to good health soon and be able to get their work made up quickly.

• Grandparents' Day is Friday, February 18th -Grandparents may attend chapel at 8:30 a.m. with our class and visit our room from 10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m. Our third graders will be singing a special song with Mr. Nelson at 10:30 a.m. in our classroom. Children may be picked up or taken at 11:30 a.m for the rest of the day if desired. We are here until 3:30 p.m. and extended care is available if needed after regular school hours.
• Continue to practice the basic multiplication facts at home. We will continue to test each child until he/she passes each family at 100%.We are recording our progress on individual charts.

• Our field trip to Kidspace is scheduled for Wednesday, March 16th. I have already secured 2 drivers and room for 10 children. We will be participating in the "Amazing Arthropods" program and will have time for a self-guided tour and picnic afterwards. The museum is right next to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Please let me know if you can drive. I have to send payment in very shortly and need an accurate count.
• The February book report info should have arrived home this week. The next project is on a poetry book and is due the 23rd.
